Aims of ERC

The primary aims of E.R.C. is to form a link between industries and experts crisis group at the time of accident. This centre would deal with chemical emergencies in the area and is the central agency in the State for the dissemination of technical/scientific information relating to the chemical hazards to tackle the chemical emergencies.

Objectives of ERC

The basic objective of setting up of E.R.C. is to minimize any possible adverse impacts of accident on people, environment and property. The centre will also provide adequate and accurate information to all relevant authorities and the public, and provide information ultimately for the rehabilitation of affected areas at the time of any mishaps related to chemical accident.
